Shari Black

Hello! My name is Shari Black, and I am really happy you found your way here.

Have you ever sat down knowing exactly what you needed to do, and still not been able to make yourself do it? Have you felt stuck in ways that are hard to explain, quietly wondering why something that feels so straightforward for everyone else feels so impossibly hard for you? That gap between knowing and doing is real, and it is exhausting. You are not alone in it, and there is nothing wrong with you.

I work with busy professionals, those struggling with burnout, moms, midlife women, entrepreneurs, post-secondary students, and people moving through major life changes like a new job, retirement, or divorce. Some of my clients have a formal ADHD diagnosis. Many are still figuring that out. What they share is years of trying harder, masking, compensating, and quietly losing ground, and a genuine desire to stop white-knuckling their way through the day and start actually moving forward.

My approach is collaborative and built around you specifically. We work together to understand how your brain actually works, what is genuinely getting in the way, and what habits and systems will work with you rather than against you. This is about learning to work with your brain rather than spending your energy fighting it.

I bring 25 years of corporate and nonprofit progressive leadership experience to this work, and I come to it as someone who has lived the experience of navigating professional and personal life with undiagnosed ADHD. I know this terrain from the inside.  I come to this work with more than credentials. I come to it with lived experience.

My Approach:

  • ADHD Coaching

  • Executive Function Coaching

  • Habit Coaching

  • Professional Organizing

  • EFT Tapping

On a more personal note, I am a small-town girl with a busy brain and I live outside of Kingston. I’m a mom to two amazing young women. When I am not coaching, you will likely find me mid-hike, mid-run, planning my next trip, or deep into a brand new hobby usually with my furry sidekick Riley by my side. I also enjoy singing in a choir and learning to play the guitar.  At my happiest I’m sitting on the porch with my favourite people or a great book.

I offer private coaching as well as group workshops.
