Britney is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over 3 years experience working with mental health concerns, families with mental health/addiction, and in supportive housing from conflict with the law or homelessness. Britney has an educational background in Bachelor degree of Behavioural Psychology and Masters degree of Counselling Psychology, in addition to completing training for DBT. She is passionate about providing a non-judgmental and listening ear to anyone who needs it. Britney has a strong interest in advocating social changes and being involved in conversations on how to make the world a safe space for everyone.

Britney’s interests lie in the general life stressors and variety of mental health concerns in youth and young adults, as particularly overwhelming and identity orientated stages of development. In her time at Wellness Within, she has developed an interest and has often supported individuals with BPD diagnosis, using a DBT-informed approach. Britney has worked with youth to older-adults for a range of concerns, through a LGBTQIA2S+ affirmative and culturally sensitive lens
